He matriculated at Igagasi High School, and furthered his education at Natal Technikon. He also studied for project management diploma through Damelin. He did an advanced Refrigeration and Airconditioning course. He worked at the following companies:- Wesbank, Ethekwini Municipality and Telkom.
It was named after the birth of triplets in the family, in memory of Late Akhona, Late Aphiwe may their souls rest in peace, and Anele.
